Didn’t show up! Then another didn’t show up.. I am making a small claim in court for recovery of your fee. You paid £130 to the van driver -and charged £230. Expect my claim in the next few weeks
This father and son team were exceptional in my opinion.
They were given the job at very short notice due to the other arranged driver cancelling 24 hours before the move.
They (Gabriel (son) and Alexandru (dad) drove from London to Somerset to arrive for 0715.
They lifted and shifted everything including really heavy furniture.
They facilitated packing more belongings in the van than I ever anticipated. They recognised I’d booked more space than required and said so.
It’s not frequent you have people that say yes we can do that. Yes we can fit that in. Yes no problem we can move other stuff out the way and get it sorted.
I travelled in the van with them from Somerset to Hampshire circa 2 hours. The van was super clean and really comfortable. Equally, and I consider importantly, the conversation was really easy. As a single female I felt very secure and knew my belongings were in safe hands.
They were all over anything fragile with blankets or any wood that might be scratched and their packing skills in the van was quite a revelation.
I recommend this father and son team. A+++++
When I move again I will request them from only.
